Telescopic Fellowship - November 2, 2007

A good time was had by all at the fellowship.  We made the right decision about having it at the pastor's house

because a cool front moved in that morning.  It would've been too cold to have it in the park, but just right to

wander out into the yard to look at the night sky.  It was just too bright to see the Big Dipper, but we could

see Polaris.  We also tried to see the comet Holmes, but although we found the Constellation Cassiopeia, we couldn't

see the comet.

Then we went inside and Bro. Meier brought a Bible lesson from Psalms 75:6-7, 48:1-2, and Isaiah 14:13f, teaching

about heaven, while everyone drank hot chocolate.

What a blessing to see some hearts smitten by the "glory of God" which "sheweth his handiwork".

We are very thankful for our guests.
